Dr Dr. Monalisa Palit, Ph.D., is a distinguished licensed practitioner specializing in child and adolescent mental health, with over two decades of expertise. Currently serving as a senior consultant at Vimhans Hospital in New Delhi, India, her practice revolves around diagnosing psychiatric conditions, conducting clinical assessments, and offering psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Palit employs an integrative approach to psychotherapy, blending Cognitive-Behavioural and Humanistic techniques, with a particular focus on play therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs. Beyond clinical work, she is deeply committed to education and training. She provides clinical guidance to post-master’s and doctoral psychology students and mentors junior psychologists for their professional development.
Her leadership extends to community outreach initiatives, including her pivotal role in developing the School Mental Health Program with ICMR and Skill India, as well as collaborative research projects on mental health with IIT Delhi’s Department of Management.
