Ms. Neha Bhimwal Patial

Ms. Neha Bhimwal Patial, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in addressing a wide range of psychological concerns across diverse client populations. Her extensive training includes internships at premier institutions such as AIIMS, Delhi, and VIMHANS (Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences), New Delhi.  She has participated and up skilled herself in various domains of psychology through informal & formal workshops, seminars, conferences and has been ranked high in her academic pursuits.

Throughout her career, Ms. Bhimwal has worked primarily with adults & adolescents and occasionally with families and couples experiencing mental health challenges, interpersonal or other stress related concerns. Her therapeutic orientation is integrative rooted in psychodynamic principles. She uses an evidence based therapeutic approach drawing from self-psychology, cognitive behaviour therapy models, personality and humanistic approaches. She tries to adapt the therapeutic style based on client needs, moving between directive interventions or exploratory, insight-based work.

Psychotherapy and Clinical Experience 

She believes that attunement to the client and their unique context is essential. Therapy provides a safe, authentic space to explore emotions, patterns, and struggles. In this setting, clients can process their experiences and work towards growth and healing.

She currently works as a private practitioner at Curatif and Medipoint Vasant Kunj.  A major part of the work is with clients with clinical conditions often referred by psychiatrists from some of the premier hospitals in Delhi/NCR. 

She has also worked as a consultant clinical psychologist at VIMHANS from 2008 to 2013 with continued engagement with VIMHANS for workshops and ongoing projects. Served as a consultant psychologist at Sri Aurobindo Ashram’s Mother’s Integral Health Centre and in a supervisory capacity at Mother’s International School.

Assessments and Training
Ms Bhimwal is extensively trained in conducting clinical interviews and a range of psychometric tools for both children and adults, including Rorschach (Exner’s system), MCCB, IQ & SLD assessments and standardized tools for Autism, ADHD, and other developmental disorders.

Projects & Workshops
She has regularly and systematically trained and supervised psychology students and professionals in assessment and therapeutic techniques. She has also conducted numerous workshops on child and adolescent mental health, parenting, study & life skills and addiction across schools and institutions in Delhi/NCR.

She has led mental health projects in schools, worked with trauma survivors, at de-addiction centres and facilitated holistic well-being initiatives like the Clean Mind Program at the Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi.
